Over the last several years, Ugly Christmas Sweaters have made a huge comeback! Have your students DESIGN their own ugly holiday sweater. Their sweaters could be Christmas, Hanukkah (Chanukah), Kwanzaa, New Years, and/or Winter themed!

Description
This purchase includes three different levels of parts of speech practice–with coloring guides–to create beautiful colored artwork! Students will identify the 8 parts of speech from Christmas themed sentences and use their answers to color in fun, Pop Art pictures. Teachers/students can choose from 12 different Winter Holiday themed images, including: a Christmas tree, a candy cane, a stocking, a Christmas gift, a snowman, a gingerbread man, Santa Claus, a reindeer, an ice skate, Christmas ornaments, a holiday wreath, and/or holiday bells. Have students color one picture or as many pictures as you’d like… it’s great practice!
Student Learning Objective: Students will be able to recognize and distinguish nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, pronouns, interjections, conjunctions, and prepositions correctly in sentences.
Differentiated instruction: If you’d like to individualize this lesson for your students based on skill level or grade level, use the coloring guides to do so. The guides are classified as easy, medium, and hard.
