Description

Need something fun and engaging to do in November before fall break? Your students will love solving puzzles in this 360° Thanksgiving escape room. This activity is designed to work for a laptop, tablet, or smart phone. Students will solve a series of clues and riddles based on Thanksgiving & the fall season! They must escape the dreadful family Thanksgiving dinner! This game is a great way to get students to work collaboratively and practice problem-solving skills.

Included in this download are teacher instructions, student instructions, the master lock graphic organizer, answer keys, and a reflection sheet (optional).

Description

This product includes three different levels of parts of speech practice–with coloring guides–to create beautiful colored artwork! Students will identify the 8 parts of speech from fall themed sentences and use their answers to color in fun, Pop-art pictures. Teachers/students can choose from 10 different Autumn/Thanksgiving themed images, including: a pumpkin, an acorn, a pilgrim hat, a turkey (animal), a cooked turkey dinner, a scalloped leaf, a classic leaf, an apple, a pie with a mitten, and corn on the cob. Have students color as many pictures as you’d like!

Student Learning Objective: Students will be able to recognize and distinguish nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, pronouns, interjections, conjunctions, and prepositions correctly in sentences.

Differentiated instruction: If you’d like to individualize this lesson for your students based on skill level or grade level, use the coloring guides to do so. The guides are classified as easy, medium, and hard.
