Letter from Birmingham Jail by Martin Luther King Jr. Digital Escape Room:
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. wrote the Letter from Birmingham Jail while he was imprisoned for leading nonviolent civil rights demonstrations in Alabama in 1963. He wrote this letter in response to criticism from white religious leaders of his civil rights campaign. This activity is a great way for students to connect to significant events during Black History Month.
Students should first read the letter written by MLK; then, they can use this 360° digital escape room activity as review/reading comprehension practice.
This activity is designed to work for a laptop, tablet, or smart phone.
