Description
Have your students create a collaborative poster and analyze ANY CHARACTER from a text in a fun, interesting way!
This project will work for any short story or any novel.
There are 6 different silhouettes available in this resource: 2 versions of Male Adult, 2 versions of Female Adult, 1 Child Male, and 1 Child Female.
Beyond the typical character analysis activity, students can unleash their artistic talents and creativity, adding their personal touches to each character.
Additionally, with this body biography project, your students will learn the importance of collaboration and effective communication.
Project Steps:
1) First, your students will work in groups to find information on their assigned character.
2) Students will then transfer their findings to boxes on the poster paper.
3) Next, students will tape together the poster pieces.
4) Lastly, they will work together to color or paint the pieces of the poster, adding clothing and facial features to the character.
The poster is made up of six pieces of paper, which can be printed on regular copy paper or card stock.
Once taped together, the final product will be 28″ x 15″ and can last a lifetime if you laminate it!
