Your students will love exploring and delving into the rich history comprised in this digital bulletin board that features prominent Black Americans, such as: Rosa Parks, Malcolm X, Barack Obama, Michelle Obama, George Washington Carver, Jackie Robinson, Jack Johnson, Frederick Douglass, Ida B. Wells, Matthew Henson, James Weldon Johnson, Harriet Tubman, Hiram Rhodes Revels, Dred Scott, and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

There are plenty of learning opportunities available in this product as I provide four different teaching options for teachers to utilize with this digital bulletin board. Within each assignment, students also have voice and choice in their learning.

Students will read researched history from secondary sources and analyze this information to make connections. This lesson can be successfully utilized in both Social Studies/History or English Language Arts/Literature classes. It’s the perfect project to celebrate and honor Black History Month.
